Brian and Katie are engaged! While I was home for Christmas, we got together to photograph their engagement. Luckily, we had just enough snow on the ground to make it pretty outside. Jake and Kathryn were married on New Year's Eve. What a fabulous way to ring in the new year, in my opinion! They had a beautiful winter day, with just the right amount of beautiful snowfall for the few photos we were able to do outside. Congratulations, Jake and Kathryn! You two are perfect together.

Kristi has been one of my dearest friends literally since we were babies. So, when my husband and I ran into her boyfriend, Cory, in the cities this summer and he briefly mentioned he was going to be needing me for a photo session sometime in the future, I knew what was up!

So needless to say, while I was back home for Christmas, I got to capture a truly special moment for my dear friends. Congratulations, you two.
