Hello everyone! I don't do very many posts on my blog that do not involve photos, but I thought this was important to share with all of you!

My husband, Matt, and I are moving! We are relocating to Grand Forks, ND for Matt to continue his education. He will be attending the University of North Dakota to become an air traffic controller. Now, I share this with you because as most of you realize, nearly all of my work is done on the North Shore. I will continue to do all of my weddings, high school seniors, families, and events up on the North Shore even though I will be living in ND. It just means I have a longer commute every weekend! I have absolutely no intentions of turning down work here because of distance.

The Anderson's had a beautiful snowfall before their session. The snow on the trees always makes one of my most favorite backgrounds! I have known the Anderson family for years and it was a pleasure to be able to capture their family photos! I am looking forward to Maren & Matt's wedding in August and seeing them again!

Matt and Maren decided to have their engagement session at the Arboretum. I had never been there before and really enjoyed the beautiful scenery! Maren and I went to high school together and it is so fun to catch up and remember old times. Matt and Maren, I can't wait for your wedding next summer!

Amber didn't want flowers, trees and the lake in her senior photos, so we explored back alleys for her session. We had a lot of fun, but froze on Saturday with the first official snowfall and freezing temperatures! You wouldn't know it by the photos, but poor Amber was freezing without a jacket on. What a trooper!

We had a lot of fun taking Ryan's senior photos. Ryan is my youngest sister's boyfriend, so the three of us went out to do his photos. He is a funny kid, who can make pretty much anyone laugh. Just ask him about the sliver he got during his photos and you in for a good laugh!

Here are Emily & Kyle's maternity photos I did back a few months ago! I am a first time Auntie!!! Connor Lee was born on Friday, July 10th at 3:46 pm. He weighed 9 pounds 13 1/2 ounces and was 22 inches. He is the cutest thing!!

Well, I can finally say that I too am now engaged!! Matt, my boyfriend of nearly 4 years, got down on one knee and proposed last Monday evening. Matt had arranged for a friend of mine to take some photos of us since we do not have any recent photos of us together and in the middle of the shoot, Matt got down on one knee and popped the question! His idea of proposing during a photo shoot was awesome because we have photos from the whole event. We are thrilled about that!
